The importance of the internet for our daily lives and in emergences.
Take for example the infamous incident of the 911 WTC attack. The internet was used for communication by the trapped workers on what was left of the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001.
There are also other incidences and positive affects using the internet like in the study of the Northwestern University of Law, they said the increase of access to pornography will decrease the number of rape. Surprisingly, it was fround true enough. Another is where a police officer called Scott Mills who have recently made many friends on Facebook to help people learn safety on the net and even spread help for a case involving 3 mising students in Canada. There are also other police divisions like those in New Zealand, Toronto and even until Europe. Last in my research, the net is also used for donating money, reaching 4.5 billion dollars in 2005 and in 2009, 250 million dollars.
